1963 Harlem Globetrotters Program Signed by Meadowlark Lemon Cab Calloway

Description

This is for an original 1963 Harlem Globetrotters program yearbook which has been signed on the front cover by Meadow Lark Lemon, entertainer Cab Calloway and half time entertainer Peg Leg Bates. The program is in pristine condition and has a beautiful Meadow Lark Lemon signature across the top and a gorgeous autograph of Cab Calloway in the white ring encircling the earth along with Peg Leg Bates appearing in the center of the program. Im not sure if Cab was part of the evenings show singing along with Peg Leg or if he was just recognized and signed the book. Peg Leg Bates was a regular at Globetrotters shows and was known for being a one legged tap dancer who had lost the lower half of his leg in a cotton gin accident as a kid. Peg Leg was the consummate entertainer and appeared on the Ed Sullivan show 22 times over the years. Tough to find a book in such great condition with three perfect diversified signatures on a cover. A must have for any Trotter or basketball fan.
