    Description

    Interesting gift for a medical office bookshelf or your den, this early 1900's cast iron microscope was made by the Monroe Gasket Company in Rochester, NY.  Unfortunately, the company is no longer around, so it is difficult to do the proper research for this fun piece. The eye cylinder still travels up and down via the turn knob and the mirror is intact and appears to be original. As far as I can tell, you can't see down the eye cylinder, but this is purely for decoration.
    Dimensions are 7" long x 5" wide x 15" tall. Weight is 5.2 lbs with a shipping weight of 6 lbs.
